UDS :: Bates Labeling

Bates numbering is a technique used to allow documents to be
shared by multiple parties with a guarantee that all parties are
using the exact same document. Obviously, when many different
parties need to have access to the same files, it is critical to
provide some way to ensure that the information to Party 1 is
exactly the same as that given to Party 2, which is exactly what
bates numbering does.

UDS can label your original documents with a bates label or
unique access number. We can label images electronically at scan
time, or as part of a post-production process to endorse and imbed
numbers in existing images.

Customization

Specified labels such as “Privileged”, “Subject to Court Order”, and
“Poor Originals” can be printed on those pages that require footer
information. Customized Bates numbers can be printed on every page.
